Strawberry and rose friands

I haven’t cooked with rose in a while, but it’s where my edible flower in food love started. With juicy, bright red strawberries in season at the moment, I couldn’t resist. Up against the sweetness of strawberries, rose dances subtly in the background, marrying perfectly. The resulting strawberry and rose syrupy goodness is carried wonderfully by the rich and moist almond batter.
